Introduction

How This Started

I have been playing the Sims 3 since it was just the Sims.  I love creating families and growing them, taking advantage of all the new worlds, interactions and materials with the expansion packs and stuff packs.  However, as of late I started to get tired of my same old playstyle.  While surfing the wormhole that is the web, I found a Sims 3 challenge that I could get behind, the Cinderella challenge.  Who doesn't love a fairytale?  Plus the rules were pretty simple and make sense to me since it is based on story that I know extremely well (I am a kindergarten teacher, so I teach fairytales every year).  So, here is my Sims 3 Cinderella challenge story.

First... a little background.

We all know the beginning of the story...poor little girl is orphaned by her genetic parents, left to be raised by an evil stepmother and her equally evil and mean spirited daughters.  But, who were these natural parents of Cinderella?  I decided I wanted to find out, so I present Etienne Heureux and Genvieve Serieux, Cinderella's (or in my case Cendrillon's) parents.  Read on to find out a bit about the background of Cindy's parents.
